Time in status bar sometimes disappear in Messages app

Summary:
Time in status bar sometimes disappear in iMessage app

Steps to Reproduce:
Launch and use Messages app.

Expected Results:
Current time appears in status bar along with network status, battery indicator.

Actual Results:
Sometimes, time disappears but the rest of the status bar appears correctly along with network status, battery indicator.

Regression:
Seems to be new in iOS 10 b2.

I've seen it happen not only in the Messages app, but in other (even 3rd party) apps as well
