Summary: Occasionally, logd will go wild and start hogging the CPU. I don't know what causes it, and the only thing that I can do to make it stop is to stop its daemon: sudo launchctl unload /System/Library/LaunchDaemons/com.apple.logd.plist Steps to Reproduce: Not quite sure how it occurs. Expected Results: logd uses a reasonable amount of the CPU Actual Results: logd shows up as 100% in Activity Monitor Version: macOS Sierra 10.12 Beta (16A239j) Notes: Configuration: Late 2011 MacBook Pro running macOS Sierra 10.12 Beta (16A239j)
