Xcode 9 Beta 2 Crashed on First Launch

Summary:
I downloaded the new Xcode 9 beta (Version 9.0 beta 2 (9M137d)) this morning. 
On first launch of the new Xcode beta, the app immediately crashed. When I ran the app again, it worked just fine and has been OK since then. 

I complained about this on twitter and was asked to submit a radar and crash report.

Steps to Reproduce:
Download Xcode 9 beta 2
Copy over existing Xcode 9 (beta 1)
Launch
**crash**

Expected Results:
It shouldn't crash

Observed Results:
It did.

Version:
Xcode version: Version 9.0 beta 2 (9M137d)
macOS version: Version 10.12.5 (16F73)
