July 1 2017, 12:55 PM In the Developer Beta 2 Update 1 (released 29 or 30 June 2017), the last screen before shutdown looks like the attached (more detailed) mock-up. The background is not wide, but has a slight magenta tint. The dotted vertical stripes have a distance of 128 pixels each, so 22.5 segments fit on my Retina screen (2880 pixels wide).

June 29 2017, 11:16 PM Hello Apple, find attached my mock-up of the view what it looks like when I shut down my Mac. The white bar is as high as the spinner used to be, and its Y position on the screen equals the previous spinner position. Please note that this is a mockup only, not an actual photo. Please let me know any additional steps or data you need. This is a mid-2014 Macbook Pro 15".

June 29 2017, 10:53 PM I cannot show a video of the broken animation since it appears during shutdown, but I will draw you a sketch what it looks like.

June 29 2017, 8:42 PM Please upload video showing broken animation A few tips about screen recording with QuickTime Player: With QuickTime Player, you can record video screen-captures with mouse clicks, audio recording, and trimming. You can capture an entire display, or a portion. Choose File->New Screen recording. Press record and choose to record just a small area or the whole screen. The frame rate can be improved by hiding QuickTime Player. Hiding other apps is generally helpful anyway. Please provide your response or results by updating your bug report. If uploading files, please compress first.
