Spotlight search bar moves and doesn't display results

Summary:
After typing a phrase in the Spotlight search bar, after waiting for a beat, the bar moves and does not display results.

Steps to Reproduce:
1) Open Spotlight using a keyboard shortcut (Ctrl+Space on my machine)
2) Type in "fubar"
3) Wait a beat

Expected Results:
The Spotlight search results are shown below the search bar.

Observed Results:
The search results were not shown and the search bar itself moved.
