High Sierra - No Audio

Summary:
Every time I open System Preferences>Sound, I get high CPU usage and then ultimately an error that says "Preferences Error Could not load Sound Preferences pane."

I have no output and have no way to change my audio output to test anything else.

Steps to Reproduce:
Boot computer and attempt to change any audio settings

Expected Results:
Be able to change audio settings

Observed Results:
I received an error when I attempted to open the sounds pane.
