Classification:Serious Bug Reproducible:Always

Summary:
The certificate used on devimages.apple.com.edgekey.net is for the domain *.test.edgekey.net. This is an invalid configuration, making Xcode unable to create a secure connection to the server and download simulators for iOS before 10.0.

Steps to Reproduce:
1. Open Xcode
2. Open Xcode's Preferences
3. Open the "Components" tab at the top
4. Download the iOS 9.3 Simulator

Expected Results:
Xcode starts downloading the simulator

Actual Results:
Xcode cannot download the simulator and displays the message:

Could not download and install iOS 9.3 Simulator. The certificate for this server is invalid. You might be connecting to a server that is pretending to be “devimages.apple.com.edgekey.net” which could put your confidential information at risk.

Version:
9.0 GM
