Xcode 9.2: The working copy XYZ has uncommitted changes, but on the other project

Steps to Reproduce: In my workspace I have my app and a framework referenced by it. Xcode asks me to update the framework, which has a clean git status. Expected Results: The message shouldn’t come for Framework if the App has uncommited changes. Actual Results: The message is shown even though (I think) it shouldn’t.
