Apple response

Engineering has determined that this issue behaves as intended based on the following information: We believe what you’re seeing is fullwidth punctuation (https://en.wikipedia.org/wiki/Halfwidth_and_fullwidth_forms), which is correct for Japanese. However, if you want to be sure, if you could attach a video showing what you’re seeing, we can confirm as to whether it’s the expected behavior or not.

Submitted by mistake without steps

Area: Foundation

Summary: English and Japanese(English) keyboard have different character set input

Steps to Reproduce: 1. Add Japenese - Romaji keyboard 2. Go to any app, use UITextField 3. Enter symbol "!" in Japenese 4. Check text in TextField in shouldChangeCharactersInRange

Expected Results: "!" should be in text

Actual Results: "! "

It has space on tail.

Probably there are other characters which differ, but for now, it appears for "!"
