15-Jul-2011 03:01 PM Song Du: Summary: Steps to Reproduce: Open iPhone Configuration Util, Create new Profile In Advanced tab, set APN to a proper APN for current carrier, set Proxy server and port to working proxy accessible in carrier's mobile network Export the profile and email to the iPhone user Install the profile in iPhone Open a website (e.g. http://apple.com) in Mobile Safari Expected Results: The HTTP connection to the website is established via proxy server Actual Results: The HTTP connection to the website is not established via proxy server, but directly to apple.com Regression: This configuration works well on iOS 4.3.3 and previous versions of iOS Notes: This is a blocking issue for mobile users on certain carriers, those carriers use proxy server in their configuration. 30-Jul-2011 05:33 AM Song Du: the issue seems fixed in iOS 5.0b4 This issue has been verified as resolved and can be closed.
