New save prompt does not respond to command-D shortcut

Originator:jens.ayton

Status:Duplicate/7839125 Resolved:
Product:Mac OS X Product Version:10.7/11A511
Classification:UI/Usability Reproducible:Always

Summary:
Since time immemorial (at least, predating Mac OS X), Mac OS “Do you want to save the changes you made in Foo?” alerts have had the shortcut command-D for “Don’t Save”. The new “close confirmation save dialog” in Mac OS X Lion does not.

Steps to Reproduce:
* Open TextEdit.
* Create a new document.
* Type something, anything.
* Close the window. (A close confirmation save dialog appears.)
* Press command-D.

Expected Results:
* The dialog should be dismissed as though “Don’t Save” had been clicked.

Actual Results:
* Nothing.

Regression:
The corresponding interface in AppKit for 10.6 responded to command-D.

New status of Duplicate/7839125 makes no sense, but I’m not going to push it since it’s clearly works-as-misdesigned and there’s a workaround (defaults write -g NSSavePanelStandardDesktopShortcutOnly -bool yes).
